The verbs taught in this section under the name of phrasal verbs are a group of structures containing a verb, a noun or adjective and a personal pronoun combined in an irregular manner, used chiefly for expressing feelings. The below examples include the most common phrasal verbs of this kind used in modern Persian in Iran. Notice that these verbs are always used in third person singular case in this structure regardless of the subject of the sentences. It is the personal pronoun following the noun/adjective part that indicates the subject of the verb.
سردم است.
سردت است.
سردم میشود.
گشنهاش است.
تشنهمان است.
خوابم میآید.
از این خوشت میآید.
